On today’s show, we will be talking about becoming hungry for a full life, well lived.
When I was growing up, and I know most of you can relate to this, I remember so many occasion when my father or mother would say no to something I wanted in a shop or somewhere I wanted to go, or whatever it was they were saying no to at the time.
I am sure you can probably remember many such occasions from your childhood.
And I remember on many of those occasions thinking, ‘I can’t wait until I am 16 and can leave home and then I can make my own decisions.’ Or ‘I can’t wait until mom gets home. She will say yes.’ Or ‘I can’t wait to have my own money, then I can buy anything I want.’
Later in life, after I had left home and joined the Air Force and of course was now earning my own money, I would think, ‘I can’t wait until I am a corporal, then at least I will earn more and have money to spend.’

I read a quote from an unknown source recently. It said, ‘Face your problems head on and never turn your back on them. Because it isn’t your problems that define you, but how you react to them and recover from them that defines you and makes you who you will become.’
That is powerful stuff if you get it.
You see we all face challenges and have problems. We can’t go through life without them. They are there just as much as oxygen is there. It just is and so are they!
Someone once said problems are like weeds. They grow whether you want them to or not.
However, what we find is so many people run from their problems not realising those problems will always follow them. And as a result never stop running. They run from people they don’t like or people who don’t like them. They run from bad memories or places which bring back memories.
They run from financial issues or relationships.read more
So you and your past! What does it have to do with your future? Does it influence who you are today? What impact does it have on who you will become tomorrow?
Let me begin this discussion with the following:
You are responsible for your life, your thoughts, your feelings, your actions and for the results you get in your life and in your business. You have the ability to stop and change anything you have control over and are responsible for.

On today’s show, we have our second special guest, Mack Story. This is an interview which was recorded a few weeks ago and we had a great time. I don’t think I laughed so much in a long time.
Mack and his wife Ria live in Atlanta Georgia. He is the author of 11 books and leadership speaker and trainer. His business, Blue Collar Leadership is focused on training leaders in a blue collar environment and he uses his 24 years experience in manufacturing to relate to leaders in that space.

In this episode, we will be talking about self-belief and your dreams. In both a personal and professional capacity, I believe a lack of self-belief is one of the greatest tragedies today.
Author Myles Munroe said, ‘The wealthiest place in the world is not the gold mines of South America or the oil fields of Iraq or Iran. They are not the diamond mines of South Africa or the banks of the world. The wealthiest place on the planet is just down the road. It is the cemetery. There lie buried companies that were never started, inventions that were never made, bestselling books that were never written, and masterpieces that were never painted. In the cemetery is buried the greatest treasure of untapped potential.’

On today’s show, we will be talking about recognizing that you are good enough and you can overcome self-doubt. I believe that you will always get 100 % of the things you don’t ask for. So I asked and it is amazing how successful people are willing to give their time and expertise to see this show become a success.
Many people said to me, ‘You are just some new kid on the block in terms of podcasting and interviewing people for the show. You have no audience, you have no credibility, so no-one will want to be interviewed by you.’
Actually, one person said to me, ‘Vic you are not good enough to make this work.’

On today’s show, we will be talking about how you can deal with feeling inferior particularly if that feeling is driven by someone else.
‘No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.’ This quote is often ascribed to Eleanor Roosevelt, but was she right?
Whether it was the late President of the United State’s, Franklin D Roosevelt’s wife who made this comment or not does not really matter. The question is not about the veracity of the quote, but rather about the validity of the quote. That is do you believe it is true?
If we assume the quote is one that Eleanor Roosevelt actually made, I think it is important to understand a little about her life to understand why she could have made a statement like this. With a little understanding, we can gain a lot of perspective on her words.
